We have an opportunity for a Dental Hygienist to work with the Atterbury Job Corps Center in Edinburgh, IN. The position is for 16 hours per week, to be worked Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00am-4:30pm. Alternate schedules will be considered.
Duties include the following: (1) Examine the students teeth and periodontal tissues, and chart findings; (2) Remove plaque, cleaning teeth, and apply topical preventative treatment; (3) Preventative dental health education for students to promote good oral hygiene techniques.
The Job Corps program, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, is a no-cost education and career technical training program that helps young people ages 16 through 24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training.
