We have a part-time position available for a General Dentist to work with the Boulder County Jail. The position is for 8-hours per week, to be worked any day Monday through Friday.
Dental Services Responsibilities: Provide dental care/treatment to referred patients in the care of the Boulder County Jail. This includes but is not limited to: Examinations, diagnosis, interpretation of radiographs, the administration of anesthesia, sedative fillings, simple extractions, pulpectomy and patient education. Utilizes standard precautions when providing dental care and treatment. Functions as a consultant to the prison staff health care provider. Develops protocols and procedures for the treatment of dental conditions or medications to be administered by the Boulder County Jail medical staff.
